The new inaugural outdoor event, designed to promote “outdoor adventure for all” will take place Saturday, April 26 at The Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Park
Minneapolis, Minn. – The Minnesota Star Tribune today announced plans to host ‘Strib Unbound,’ an outdoor event extravaganza featuring a full day of fun and activities for all ages.
The inaugural Strib Unbound will take place at The Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will celebrate the abundant natural resources and recreation opportunities available across Minnesota.
The event will focus on non-motorized sports with an emphasis on biking, camping, hiking and paddling activities. Attendees can expect various activations related to these sports along with timely presentations from the Minnesota Star Tribune’s Outdoors team, camp cooking demos from local chefs, live music, and a host of other engaging activities. Strib Unbound comes on the heels of the Minnesota Star Tribune’s inaugural The Wrap event, which saw more than 800 prominent Minnesotans celebrate the year in review at the iconic Heritage Printing Facility in the North Loop of Minneapolis.
