Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Stephanie Ness is the Star Tribune’s Chief Financial Officer. Stephanie joined the Star Tribune from Target Corporation where she spent 13 years in progressively senior roles in Finance. She gained a breadth of experiences supporting many of Target’s leading business strategies including the growth of private label brands, launch of the digital advertising business, and the expansion of its store portfolio. Most recently she was Head of Financial Planning & Analysis Transformation where she led a team charged with modernizing the function. Prior to Target, she worked in investment banking at KPMG and Piper Jaffray. Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. As a native Minnesotan, she grew up in the Twin Cities and currently lives with her husband and children in Minneapolis.
