Chuck Brown // Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Chuck Brown is Star Tribune’s senior vice president, chief financial officer, responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial management and performance. Brown joined Star Tribune in 1997 and has steadily assumed greater responsibility in all areas of fiscal strategy. Prior to joining the Star Tribune, he was a divisional controller for Travelers Express Company.

Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University, and earned the Certified Public Accountant designation.

Brown is on the board of directors of the Minnesota Daily, the student-produced newspaper of the University of Minnesota. He also is active locally in the photographic-arts community.
