The Doggie Look-Alike Contest : Do You Look Like Your Dog?

Minneapolis/St. Paul - (September 7, 2007) - Do you think you look like your dog? Do people tell you your dog looks like you?

If you bear more than a passing resemblance to your canine friend, enter the Doggie Look-Alike Contest being held in conjunction with Doggie Palooza.

WHAT: The top contestants and their dogs appear in the parade of finalists on the main stage at Doggie Palooza. At the end of the parade, the winner, who was chosen by popular vote on www.startribune.com/petcentral, is announced.

THE PRIZE: A weekend at a dog friendly Minnesota resort.

WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007. Parade of Finalists is at 1 p.m. Doggie Palooza event runs 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

TO ENTER: Submit photos of you and your pet on www.startribune.com/petcentral between Sept. 5 - 18. All entrants must be able to attend the Doggie Palooza event Saturday, Sept. 29.

THE SELECTION PROCESS: Finalists will be selected and notified Sept. 19. Their pictures will be posted on the site the following day. The winner will be determined by a vote of the site’s users; voting closes Sept. 27. All finalists will receive tickets to Doggie Palooza.
