Paul Kasbohm promoted to Vice President of Retail and National Advertising at the Star TribuneMinneapolis/St. Paul - (September 7, 2006) - Paul Kasbohm has been promoted to vice president of Retail and National Advertising at the Star Tribune. He will be responsible for all advertising sales in the Retail and National categories.
“Paul has an outstanding record of strong sales management and impressive results,” said Mike LaBonia, senior vice president, Sales and Strategic Development. “He is an aggressive and strategic sales leader who has played a major role in growing our business in several key enterprises.”
Kasbohm joined the Star Tribune in 1997, working in Classified Recruitment sales. He moved to the display side of the business in 1999 as an account manager and was promoted to assistant sales manager of National in 2002. He became sales manager of National in 2003 and was promoted to sales director of the National team in 2004. He was promoted to executive director of Retail and National earlier this year.
A University of Minnesota graduate, he holds a bachelor's degree in applied economics with a marketing emphasis. Kasbohm expects to complete his master's degree at the University of St. Thomas in December.
