Hartman Hankies go to those who Sit with SidMinneapolis/St. Paul - (August 12, 2006) - Media Alert
WHAT: Fifty lucky contestants and their guests won tickets to “Sit with Sid” at the Twins game Aug. 18, 2006. They’ll receive a collectible “Hartman Hanky, ” signed by Sid and addressed “To my close personal friends,” at the game. An additional 5,000 Hartman Hankies will be given out to those who purchase tickets to sit in the section.
WHY: The Hartman Hankies are part of the advance promotion for Sid’s new book, “Sid Hartman’s Great Minnesota Sports Moments with Joel Ripple.” The book goes on sale at local bookstores this fall. Prerelease copies will be available at the Star Tribune booth at the Minnesota State Fair.
WHERE: The Twins vs. White Sox game at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis.
