Brooke Ellison to speak at 2005 Star Tribune Women’s Lecture Series presented by Herberger’s

Minneapolis/St. Paul - (May 3, 2005) - The 2005 Star Tribune Women's Lecture Series presented by Herberger’s and produced by SMART TALK™ is proud to bring Brooke Ellison to Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis Wednesday, May 11, 2005, 7:30 p.m.

Ellison, whose life story was made into an A&E television movie directed by the late Christopher Reeve, is a triumphant and moving example of the limitless possibilities of a life lived with love and courage. Struck by a car and paralyzed from the neck down at age 11, Ellison never let her disability stop her from living her life to the fullest. Her accomplishments include being the first quadriplegic to graduate from Harvard University.
