Star Tribune promotes Cindy Doege to circulation directorMinneapolis/St. Paul - (February 22, 2005) - Cindy Doege has been promoted to circulation director at the Star Tribune, Steve Alexander, senior vice president, Circulation, announced today. She had been director of strategic planning in Circulation.
As the new second-in-command for circulation, Doege will continue her financial and strategic planning functions and take on all administrative/staff support areas - as well as guide day-to-day circulation activities.
“The Star Tribune is one of the few major metro newspapers in the country that has been consistently growing circulation. Cindy's engineering of financial models and her relentless tracking of performance has been key in driving our circulation growth,” said Alexander.
Recently Doege was honored by the National Newspaper Association as one of the top “Twenty Under Forty” talents in the industry. She has been with the Star Tribune for 10 years in several finance and circulation roles. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
