With a proven track record of recruiting, building and leading high-performance sales teams, Jeff Griffing is responsible for all advertising and digital revenue at Star Tribune. Under his leadership the company has consistently outperformed its peer group and re-established its position as a premier media brand and partner to local, regional and national advertisers.

 

Before joining the company in 2010, Griffing was publisher and vice president of sales of Sports Illustrated. Before that he was president and publisher of Transworld Media, a multiplatform media publisher of action sports magazines and websites and producer of events and feature films for the action sports market. Prior to Transworld Media, he was the central U.S. sales director for Media Networks, a Time Inc., company that brings local advertising to national magazines and websites.

 

Earlier in his career, Jeff held regional and international sales positions for USA Today and spent eight years with Hyatt Regency and Novus Marketing.
