Job Description:
This position works independently and with the Single Copy staff to identify, solicit and acquire new clients and Star Tribune news rack sales accounts. Account Specialists will also provide exceptional customer service to existing accounts, coordinates promotional sales programs with store personnel and is responsible for the placement of client and rack equipment.  Responsible for optimizing placement and positioning of Star Tribune products to maximize sales.  Acts as a liaison between the client and the Single Copy staff-informs the client of any changes in policy or procedure.

Qualifications:
*Must have Associate or Bachelor's degree or exq. experience.
*Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of direct sales experience.
*Must have strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
*Must have strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
*Proficient using the basic Word and Excel programs.
*Ability to lift and/or push up to 50lbs (newspapers/equipment).
*Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
