Job Description: The Recruitment Account Executive for Major accounts is responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue objectives by providing consultative services to new and existing clients through the development of strategic marketing plans. The Recruitment Account Executive will lead the acquisition effort to gain new business by demonstrating the ability to meet the clients advertising needs through effective print and online advertising. As an Account Executive, this position will consult with top non-agency employment accounts, identifying their specific recruiting and staffing needs and work to fulfill these needs with StarTribune.com/job products and services.

Qualifications: Reposted 3-30-2010 (Change in Qualifications) This position requires a 4 year college degree or equivalent experience. 1 – 3 years sales experience in recruitment advertising strongly preferred. A strong understanding of the recruitment market landscape preferred. Shows strong initiative; self motivated with a strong desire to succeed. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work well in a team environment. Detail oriented, organized and highly disciplined. Knowledge and understanding of competition with proven success at selling against all competing media helpful. Demonstrated presentation skills with ability to influence buying decisions. Capable of building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Must have excellent PC skills. Must provide proof of valid driver’s license, auto insurance and have reliable transportation.
