Job Description: Working for the leading Midwest provider of news and information, this key role is responsible for developing common metrics and tools that seek to ensure the annual newspaper circulation distribution fee budget is efficiently administered. You’ll analyze cost structures related to all external agent operations through business models making use of performance, volume and financial data. Will work to identify critical financial concerns and provides recommendations to offset any potential adverse impacts. Will develop tools, procedures and present recommendations that drive measurable progress on performance and improve reporting of existing circulation metrics.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a degree in finance, business or related field with hands on business experience in distribution, manufacturing, operations or related industry. Must possess a consultative, results oriented work style that demonstrates creative, intuitive and conceptual thinking with practical and sound business judgment. Requires strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving skills, excellent communication/interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills. Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a consensus-building environment. Requires in depth and proficient knowledge of Microsoft business applications. Demonstrated willingness to learn internal business system and applications. Must be well organized with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives.
