Job Description: The Star Tribune is offering an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to sell advertising in our vita.mn print and online product to a targeted market. In this role you'll actively solicit new business prospects by establishing contact with key decision-makers. Working with them you'll identify their marketing needs and propose a solution using the vita.mn product.

Qualifications: This position requires excellent communication/presentation skills, strong negotiation and problem solving skills. Previous business to business sales experience strongly preferred with demonstrated ability to prospect and cold call and close a sale on the phone or in-person. Previous experience selling advertising or media products and/or rlelated services Must have a strong customer service orientation. Degree and/or undergraduate studies in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field strongly preferred.
