Job Description: Take your career to the next level. Use your knowledge of the recruitment/employment industry to work for a Company with the most often visited media website serving the Twin Cities. In this fast paced Product Manager role you'll develop, maintain and grow the StarTribune.com jobs channel and related advertising products ensuring strategies and tactical plans are aligned with overall division and company strategy. Focused on the job seeker and employer audience, you'll develop and refresh content, emails and promotions tracking site data and response patterns. You’ll be accountable for innovative product improvements by understanding consumer and marketer expectations and applying the traditional marketing mix. As you move new projects from the idea stage, you'll develop a business case, project plans, launch and post-launch activities including monitoring, tracking and resolving issues as needed.

Qualifications: To be successful in this position you’ll have a minimum two plus years in the recruitment/employment or HR training industry- direct company and/or agency experience an degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, HR or related field with applicable experience in one or more of these fields. Qualified candidates will also have at least two years planning, developing and maintaining content (write and/or edit copy) for an online site or service and/or experience with the development and maintenance of employer’s website content. Must have a basic understanding of HTML, FTP and the ability to handle and upload images using web-publishing software. Must be able to manage multiple initiatives on time and within budget leading and collaborating with various departments and functions. Experience managing vendors relationships and developing new products is strongly preferred.
