Kristie Alberty, Director Post Press Operations

Kristie Alberty was promoted to director of post press operations in 2006. She is responsible for the mailroom and the Technical Services staff at the Star Tribune's Heritage production plant.

Alberty joined the Star Tribune in 1977 and was, prior to her transfer to her current position, director of IT applications. Her accomplishments include leading the installation of a new pagination system, new publishing systems for advertising and news, and a new financial system of record. In addition, she has overseen the replacement of inserting equipment in the Mailroom.

Alberty has a bachelor's degree in political science and history from Macalester College.
