Kevin Desmond Senior Vice President, Operations

Kevin Desmond, is senior vice president of Operations for the Star Tribune. He is responsible for the Manufacturing and Facilities divisions, and Information Technology.

Previously, Desmond was vice president of operations at the St. Paul Pioneer Press, where he was in charge of production, technology and facilities. Before coming to the Twin Cities in 2004, Desmond was vice president of operations at the Wichita Eagle. He has also held posts as assistant production manager at the Los Angeles Herald Examiner and as a systems engineer at W. R. Grace & Co. in Lexington, Mass.

Desmond has a master's degree in business management and administration from Pepperdine University and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Massachusetts.
