The Star Tribune accepts orders for reprints of photos that were published in the Star Tribune newspaper or on the startribune.com website. Only photos that were published may be ordered. Unpublished photos can not be reprinted.

Photos supplied by the Associated Press or other sources are not available from the Star Tribune. You must contact other sources directly.

The Star Tribune will not sell photos of minors except to members of the minor’s immediate family or to persons with written permission from the minor’s parent(s) or guardian.

Photos of celebrities or athletic stars can not be sold without the written permission from the person in the photo.

Photo reprints are for your personal use only. The photo cannot be reproduced or used for any commercial purposes. If you are seeking permission to republish a Star Tribune photo in another publication, click here for more information or call 612-673-7507.

To order photos, fill out the form below and send your order to us online, by fax or by mail.

Online – Fill in the order form online and place your order electronically by clicking on the Submit button. The online submission takes place on a secure Web server to safeguard your credit card number and other personal data you’ve entered for this transaction.

Fax or Mail – Print out the form, fill it out, and then fax it to 612-673-7864 or mail the form to Photo Reprint Sales, Star Tribune, 425 Portland Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55488.

Terms and more information

Sales tax (at 7 percent) applies to Minnesota residents only. The prices listed below already include sales tax.

Reprinted photos may be cropped slightly differently from the way they appeared in the newspaper or on the startribune.com website.

Photos published within the last five years, are typically available either in color or black-and-white, even if the photo was published in the newspaper as a black-and-white photo. Specify your choice of either black-and-white or color on the order form.

If mailing or faxing the order form, please include a newspaper clipping (or photocopy) of the photo if possible, plus the date that it was published.

If ordering a photo that was published on startribune.com, please include the Web address (URL) of the page where the photo was published.

In the event that reprints of the photo are not available, we will return your remittance or credit your account.

Pricing (including sales tax)

8 inches by 10 inches:

Color or Black-and-white - $30 for first reprint; $16.05 for additional reprints of same photo. An additional $4 shipping and handling fee applies to entire order.

11 inches by 14 inches:

Color or Black-and-white – $57 for first reprint; $21.40 for additional reprints of same photo. An additional $4 shipping and handling fee applies to entire order.

16 inches by 20 inches:

Color or Black-and-white – $107 for first reprint; $53.50 for additional reprints of same photo. An additional $4 shipping and handling fee applies to entire order.
