Job Description:
Star Tribune is
looking for two talented & results oriented Account Executives to serve
as consultative experts for the online advertising, marketing & digital
products & services. You will effectively facilitate sales activities
by prospecting for new business, developing client relationships &
identifying products & services that meet their needs. Will work with
advertising decision makers demonstrating the benefits of
StarTribune.com digital products including search engine marketing,
video banner advertising, email marketing & more. Will act as a
resource for the online sales team, recommending product/service
improvements & knowledge of industry trends.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years sales experience.
Must have ability to form strong and effective relationships with marketers and
proven results of increased revenue. Knowledge of online consumer purchasing or
experience with online media is preferred. Ability to establish product value and
close a sale in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communications
and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively manage multiple demands and
keep current to rapidly changing information. Previous project management experience
and knowledge of databases used in online marketing campaigns strongly preferred.
Analytical skills are important in managing and optimizing active DART, mobile, video,
search engine and email campaigns of customers.
